If you are using a version 4 browser, the padlock in the lower left corner of your browser window will be closed (locked) instead of open (unlocked). You also can click the "Security" button in your browser's toolbar; a pop-up window will confirm, "This page was encrypted."

If you are using a version 3 browser, the lower left corner of your browser window will show a solid key with a blue background instead of a broken key with a grey background.
